Productive, Sustainable, and Climate-Neutral

Sustainability is a big word. And a rather overused one at that. However, we believe there is no alternative to this approach; each of us, through our decisions, influences the present and the future, the cycle of life to which we all belong. We therefore consider it simply our duty to act responsibly, conscientiously, and with foresight. This conviction has been an integral part of our corporate ethos from the very beginning. Because let’s not kid ourselves—no piece of furniture is produced without an ecological footprint, not even one from Signet.

Where there is a sofa, there is a footprint. But we are committed to living within our means.
But because we want to keep this footprint as small as possible, we continuously derive concrete measures from this approach, such as generating electricity via photovoltaics, utilizing wood waste in our heating system, or using recycled and recyclable packaging film. The continuously growing proportion of recycled upholstery fabrics in our collection is also important to us. And, of course, we remain committed to exclusively domestic production and, whenever possible, prioritize regional raw materials and suppliers.

(Eco-)Logical Consequence
It goes almost without saying: our voluntary participation in the DGM’s “Furniture Industry Climate Pact.” Through this, we commit to continuously reducing our CO2 emissions—acting responsibly toward the future and contributing to the UN’s climate protection goals.
